Hi there! My name is Olivia, and I am a second year Physical and Health Education student and a member of the Vikes Swimming Team at the University of Victoria. Swimming has been a huge part of my life for many years, and being part of the Vikes has been an incredible experience. As a competitive swimmer, I’ve had the chance to push my limits, improve my skills, and be surrounded by a group of like-minded athletes who share my passion. Representing the Vikes is not just about swimming fast – it’s about discipline, teamwork, and dedication. I’m so proud to be a part of a team that values both individual growth and collective success.

I come from a big, loving family of six. Growing up with three siblings has been a unique experience. There was always something happening in our household. Whether it was competing for bathroom time in the morning, playing sports together, or just spending time around the dinner table.

I grew up in the beautiful town of Fernie, a small but vibrant community nestled in the heart of the Rocky Mountains. Fernie is a place that has shaped who I am today. I spent my childhood surrounded by nature, enjoying outdoor activities like hiking, skiing, and, of course, swimming in the lakes and rivers. Growing up in a small town taught me the value of hard work, strong relationships, and being connected to the world around me. The sense of community in Fernie is something I carry with me, and it has influenced how I approach my relationships and challenges in life.

Thanks for taking the time to read a little about me. I’m always up for new adventures in life, and I’m looking forward to what’s next!
